Word Portrait
This is one of the easyest projects we have ever done in art class. We only needed a picture of a family member, friend, or artist that was meaninful for us, pen, pencil, paper, cardboard. The way we did this project was by coping the picture on another papaer with the pencil. Then we started writing things about this person, or the lyrics or tha singer, or even quotes from the actor. We started writting this things on the boarders and we fstarted filling the spaces that were darker, like the hair of expression lines. Then we pasted our drawings on cardboards.. I did Chris Tomblin, a christiano music singer. the lyrics i choose was Indescribable. The whole song filled the picture.
It was really fun and pretty easy. This was really fun because it gave us the cance of chosing a person that ment something important for us. It was easy because we didn't actually had to draw the person, but only copy it on another paper. It was also fun because I had to choose among many artist which one would be the right one to do this poject. sThis was an easy process because I put the picture in the window and on top the white bond paper and started coping the picture, so that it would be sort of like the same. I choose the song "Indescribable", because it talks about God creating all creatures, and how each creature found in earth praise Him, their own way. This song is important for me because I'm consider myself Christian, and I have a lot of faith in God. I really liked doing this because it gave me a chance to learn new things, to learn new ways of art.

Canvas Grid Drawing
For this proyect I needed a canvas, ruler, pencil, paint, eraser, a picture of someone famous. For achiving our goal that was to amplify the image of an artist in a canvas we first had to do another miniproject that was called grid drawing Grid drawing is when you have many squares and you draq the objects that are in one square, to the other one that it's bigger. The first grid drawing I did was a Hersheys pakage. The one displayed here, its not very clear, but it is Jared Leto, the lead singer from ·0 Seconds to Mars. First I started by draing squares of 2x2 in the picture that I choose The, on the canvas, I drew squares of 4x4. After all thae canvas was covered with squares, I started drawing Jared's face. This picture looked better before painting it, to tell the truth. For painting this drawing, we first had to learn about the shades scale. We did one shade scale with the colors we would use in the canvas. After drawing we had to look very carefully in the picture to see the different tipes of shades to number them and that way when painting, we would only need to color code.
This project was a little bit difficult, because we had to dra the same exact image fot it to look an amplified version of the original picture using pop art technoques. The proces to achieve our goal was long because we had to be pretty carefull not to damage the canvas. This picture looked better before painting it, to tell the truth. To be honest I the colors I choose for this canvas were totaly different, but I added to much balck in one of the shades, so all the sades had to be darker. It was fun because it gave me a better idea of pop art..

Favorite Sketch
This is a sketch that representa part of the song by Allison. This sketch was really easy to do. The only meterials I needed was my sketchbook, pencil, eraser and Klenex. First I draw the eye, Then I started adding the shades to the eye. I started with the darkest shade, making it seem almost blak. Then with the Kleenex I started fading the color 'till the color was bearly seen. I drew a heart in the middle of the eye because of what the song says about love and death. I added the eyelashes and the tears after shading the eye. The eye lashed were pretty simple, I only had to draw many dark lines and with the leenex fade the execisve color, making it seem more real. The tears are darker because, first, the drawing only has shades between black and white: and second, because they are tears caused by pain
This eye Represents the song "amor Eterno" written by Juan Gabriel, sang by Rocio Durcal, and now the new version by Allison, the three of them mexicans.The song stats with "tu eres la tristeza de mis ojos que lloran en silencio por tu amor" that means "you are the sadness in my eyes that silently cry because of your love". The song is about a person who lost their only love. This "loved one" died and now the person is crying because they miss the dead, because they loved him/her very much and they will never find anyone else like him/her. It also talks about how love will last forever, even if death separates them. It is a nice song, so i decided to represent part of the song with a drawing that would be meaningful for me.
